The Nursing Nightmare

So having Jonah home has been a lot easier than Annalise.
It helps that I know what I am doing now,
and he is a very easy going baby.

That being said....
nursing has really been hard with him.

To start off he was tongue tied, so we had his tongue clipped,
but he still has had a hard time nursing.
I have had to supplement from the first few days he was home, and I pump whenever I can,
and I still can't make enough  milk because he gets too frustrated if the milk is not coming out as quickly as Niagara Falls.

So now I am counting down the days until he starts on solid foods,
and hoping I can keep up this
 pumping, feeding, supplementing schedule.

Oh dear! I am so sorry. This has to be frustrating. The good news is that formula today is really good (not as good as you). I am really proud of you for doing so much to be sure he gets good nutrition. Good luck!

Hey Kelsey! I know what you are going through...nursing Tennyson was a breeze, but Asher was a whole different story. Hang in there, if anyone can do it, it's you! He's such a cutie pie!

I've been there! Maybe try only giving him the newborn bottle nipples? Do whatever you feel is best, though- you're the momma! Good luck.
